Draft notice
This is a draft prepared for the ParcelTrade prototype. It is not legal text and has not been reviewed by a solicitor.
Before launch, a solicitor must check it against the UK cookie rules (PECR) and the final list of cookies the site uses.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We also use similar browser storage. We keep both to a minimum.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms, and saving your declaration draft. They do not need your consent.
Your preferences
We remember the language you chose and your display settings, so you do not have to choose them again on every visit.
Anonymous statistics
We count visits to see which pages help people and which need work. This data stays with us and is never used for advertising.
You can opt out at any time with the “Opt out of statistics” link at the bottom of every page.
No advertising or session recording
We do not use advertising cookies, ad pixels or tools that record your screen.
If we ever want to, we will ask for your consent first, and saying no will be as easy as saying yes.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as your account, will not work.
Changes to this notice
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date at the top.
