Business and large shipments

Commercial shipping from the UK to Uzbekistan

Sending stock for a shop, goods for sale or the contents of a home? That is commercial shipping. It needs more paperwork than a family parcel, so we handle each shipment individually and give you a personal quote.

What counts as commercial

A shipment is commercial if it weighs more than 30 kg, contains 6 or more identical items, or is meant for sale or business use. Customs clear commercial goods as a normal import, with duties and full documents.

  • more than 30 kg in one shipment
  • 6 or more identical items
  • For sale or for business use

Any one of these is enough.

Who it is for

If you send regularly or in bulk, we plan each shipment with you.

Online sellers

Instagram and Telegram shops that sell UK clothes, cosmetics or baby goods in Uzbekistan.

Small businesses

Entrepreneurs and companies that need parts, equipment or supplies from the UK.

Moving home

Families moving back to Uzbekistan with many boxes of personal belongings.

Wholesale and samples

Small wholesale batches and product samples for trade fairs or new suppliers.

Documents you will need

  • Commercial invoice: what you are sending, how many, and the price of each item.
  • Packing list: what is in each box, with weights and sizes.
  • The recipient’s tax number in Uzbekistan (STIR/TIN), for a company or an individual entrepreneur.
  • A contract or order between the seller and the buyer, if the goods are being sold.
  • Certificates for some goods (for example food, cosmetics or electronics). The exact list depends on the goods, so we confirm it with our customs broker before you ship.

We confirm the final list for your goods with our customs broker before you ship.

How it works

  1. Send a request

Tell us what you are sending, roughly how much it weighs and what it is worth. A short message is enough to start.

  2. Get a quote

We check the goods with our customs broker and send you a quote with the delivery price and the likely duty.

  3. Prepare the documents

We give you a checklist and help you fill in the invoice and packing list correctly.

  4. Collection and flight

We collect the goods or you bring them to our hub. We arrange the UK export and book space on the weekly flight.

  5. Customs and delivery

Our broker in Tashkent clears the goods. After the duty is paid, we deliver to your address or you collect from our office.

Questions about commercial shipping

See all
What is the maximum size and weight, and how should I pack?

One parcel can weigh up to 30 kg. There is also a limit on the longest side, and the calculator shows it before you book. Anything bigger can be split into several parcels or sent as a commercial shipment.

Use a sturdy box, fill empty space so nothing moves, wrap fragile items separately and seal liquids in a bag. Don't send bags or suitcases wrapped in film: they tear in the hold. If the packaging isn't strong enough for the flight, we'll offer to repack it before loading.

What counts as a commercial shipment?

Anything sent for business or resale: stock for a shop, goods for a company, samples, or a large number of identical items. Uzbek customs also treats a parcel as commercial if the quantity is more than a family would need, the same goods are sent repeatedly, or they go to the same address again and again. Anything heavier than 30 kg per piece is handled as commercial too.

Commercial goods don't use the personal $200 allowance. They're cleared under the general import rules, with duty and VAT, so they need their own paperwork and pricing.

How do I get a price for a commercial or bulk shipment?

Send a request on the Commercial shipping page. The quick form needs only your name, phone and a short description. The detailed form lets you add the goods, their value, weight and number of boxes, which gets you an exact price faster.

Commercial shipments are priced individually, depending on the weight, volume, type of goods and how often you ship. We reply through your preferred channel within a working day, with the price, the documents needed and the timeline.

What documents do I need for a commercial shipment?

Usually a commercial invoice and a packing list, the recipient company's details and tax number (STIR), and a contract between the sender and the recipient if the goods are being sold. Some goods also need certificates of conformity, or veterinary or phytosanitary certificates.

We'll send the exact checklist for your goods with the quote, and a licensed customs broker in Tashkent handles the import declaration. Please don't send commercial goods as personal parcels: customs can hold them and fine the recipient.

I'm moving to Uzbekistan. Can I send my belongings?

Yes. Personal belongings can go as several standard parcels of up to 30 kg each, but remember that each one counts towards the recipient's monthly allowance by value. For a large volume, such as the contents of a whole flat, one consignment is usually easier: request a quote on the Commercial shipping page.

Used personal items are declared at a fair second-hand value. Furniture, large appliances and anything heavier than 30 kg per piece are accepted only as a commercial consignment.
